So today what I want to talk about are dumb guy moves. And so these are moves that I've seen professionally as well as moves I, unfortunately, have done myself. So here's some dumb guy moves presented by Dan and Madi. And the dumb guy here is Dan. No offense, Dan. You're a good dude.

Dan:

Babe, I know your birthday just happened, but I was so excited. I got something for you after the fact.

Madi:

Oh my God. Post birthday presents. Yay.

Dan:

Oh my God. This is so unlike me.

Madi:

Pitter-patter.

Dan:

I got us front row tickets to the next Colorado Rapids soccer game. It's been, what, three months since professional soccer has been played? And we're going to get front row-

Madi:

Hold up. Hold up. You got me tickets to a Colorado Rapids game when you know I don't watch soccer or like the sport that much.

Dan:

Well, when you put it like that.

Madi:

You're an idiot.

Dan:

Maybe I should have just gotten some flowers.

Dan:

Friday. Friday. Friday is my favorite day. Hey babe.

Madi:

Where do you think you're going?

Dan:

Oh yeah. I forgot to tell you. I'm headed down to Cancun with the boys.

Madi:

You're taking a trip to Mexico and you didn't tell me about it?

Dan:

Okay. Yeah. I realize where I [inaudible 00:01:59] up and I'm sorry. I'll do better next time.

Madi:

Leave before I end you.

Dan:

Okay. I love you. Bye.

Dan:

Hold on a second. Dougan, what's up buddy? Oh, yeah, dude. We're over at the Chop House right now. You want to swing by? Okay. All right. I'll see you soon. All right. Bye. It's Dougan. He's going to swing by for a second. I don't know, two, three beers. Nothing crazy though.

Madi:

You invited Dougan to our romantic dinner for two at the Chop House?

Dan:

When you put it like that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I did.

Madi:

Dan.

Dan:

Yes, dear.

Madi:

Dougan's not coming to dinner.

Dan:

Yes, dear.

Jason:

So the antidote to dumb guy moves is to think before you do. Think, how is what I'm going to do affect my partner? If you keep this in mind, you're going to avoid running into those problems later. Thank you so much. Why do I do that.
