Couples Therapy in Denver – Get through to your partner
Relationships rarely break down all at once.
More often, disconnection happens gradually.
Couples find themselves caught in negative patterns and cycles that can feel hopeless at times.
You didn’t sign up for the relationship to be mired in miscommunication, resentment, emotional and physical distance, or the feeling that you're having the same argument over and over.
If you’re looking for couples therapy in Denver, it's likely because something in your relationship is important enough that you want to see it improve.
At Colorado Relationship Recovery, we help couples reconnect by first understanding their cycles and patterns of disconnection. We guide you both on how to repair these issues to spend more time in connection and intimacy.
We help you two be that:
“Passionate couple that truly gets through to each other.”
Why Jason Started Colorado Relationship Recovery
Jason first got into couples therapy in a very personal way.
At the time, he was already a therapist, but he was going through a difficult relationship. He and his partner decided to try couples therapy, hoping it would help them resolve their issues.
But reflecting honestly on that experience in couples therapy, he felt the therapy they received was pretty crummy.
After his divorce, he thought, “That was crazy,” and he kept returning to the same idea: there had to be a better way to help couples manage conflict and move forward.
That experience led him to focus on providing effective couples therapy for people seeking harmony, intimacy, and a path forward in their relationship.
Colorado Relationship Recovery was built around that mission.
Our Philosophy on Couples Therapy
At Colorado Relationship Recovery, we believe that effective couples therapy begins with honesty and authenticity.
We don’t try to be “super therapists.”
We’re real people helping other real people.
Most therapists enter this field because of their own experiences, struggles, and growth. In that sense, we walk the same path alongside our clients.
We’re not better than the couples we work with.
But what we can be is a guide—someone who helps couples navigate difficult moments and create the relationship they desire.
We have all finished graduate school and are engaged in ongoing training in Relational Life Therapy (RLT), team meetings, and case consultations to keep learning. We are all lifelong learners.
